    1. Hello Anonymous. Thank you for your question. The fact that TAVS no longer promotes Gary Francione anymore ought to be a big clue, since if you listen to the interview the main reason I got involved was because I was assured that the *abolitionist* vegan society would—unlike so many others—be focused on promoting the actual work of the actual theorist who wrote the Abolitionist theory - The Abolitionist Approach to Animal Rights. Which is what was happening when I got involved or I would never have gotten involved. That started to change, unfortunately, and then finally Gary Francione later advised they either had to remove him *or* they could add a disclaimer that he is not formally involved and does not endorse the organisation. I had already disassociated myself at that point, because I didn’t like where things were going, but I am aware of what happened: they instantly chose the first option—to eliminate him completely. If anyone whose work I was using asked me to add that disclaimer to my website I would do so with no problem, and keep referencing to the work, especially if the work itself was as invaluable and needed to be read as much as this does. As far as I am concerned the fact that the other option was chosen ought to tell you a lot about why I don’t support them. Anyone who has listened to my podcasts knows how strongly I believe in sharing the abolitionist approach theory, in its original form, at the original source. This is not the first time I have gotten involved with something or some people or group in good faith, which I am now no longer involved with, and I very much hope it will be the last, as I plan to never get involved with any other groups again.

I also never liked all the selling of items, the "TAVS store" etc. I went along with a lot of things I am not proud of, but it can’t be helped now, what’s done is done. I also will never support an organisation that promotes using animal products in any way, even if they are second-hand. I have lots of reasons but I hope that will suffice as that is all I am inclined to say about it. That’s it. If it doesn’t explain things to your’s or anyone else’s satisfaction, I apologise but there is nothing I can do about that, as this is the last I am going to speak of it. Thanks again.

    2. Gosh that sounded really angry. Sorry. I just don't like talking about it. I don't mean to take it out on you. Please excuse me.
